Savina “Savi”, a promising track and field athlete, is injured in her knee. She decides to kill herself after undergoing surgery at the hospital. But Satyajeet, a small-time, not-too-rich crook, stops her. Atul, her father, disapproves. They fall in love and start a relationship. Victor assigns Satya the task of delivering a package, which is assumed to be a shipment of narcotics, to an address. He also expects him to collect Rs 5,000,000 within 80 minutes.
Satya delivers and collects the money, but decides that he will gamble the money to return Victor’s share of the winnings and keep his own. He is on his way to the casino when he meets a stranger, and he loses the cash on a bus. Satya panics and calls Savi to warn him that Victor is putting his life in danger. Savi, who just discovered she is pregnant, asks Atul for the money.
Savi meets Jacob on her way to Atul’s gym. Jacob is a taxi driver whose girlfriend Julia has married another man. Jacob refuses Savi’s driving license so she steals David’s cab. Atul asks Savi for money. They get into an argument because Atul was her coach, and their relationship soured following Savi’s injury. Savi accuses Atul of dating a man following the death of her mother.
They cannot come to an agreement and Savi flees empty-handed. David spots her and chases her, but she escapes him by hiding at Julia’s wedding. Appu and Gappu, two bumbling brothers, plan to rob Mamlesh of his jewelry shop. Satya arrives at Mamlesh’s store with the same idea and there is a Mexican standoff. Savi throws a brick through the glass window to distract everyone, allowing Satya and her money escape.
The brothers eventually catch up with them in an alleyway, and Mamlesh shoots and kills Satya. Satya recalls the story of Savitri who tricked Yama the god of death into saving her husband Satyavan despite Satyavan’s fate to die. Savi discovers that she is pregnant and the day resets, giving her another chance to save Satya.
